Physical fitness management includes: leadership, planning, organization, provision, control and accounting.

The management of physical training in the Armed Forces is carried out by the head of the Physical Training Department of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the commanders-in-chief of the branches of the Armed Forces, the commanders of the arms (troops) of the Armed Forces, military districts (fleets), formations (flotillas), commanders of formations and military units.

13. What is the calculation of physical training planning for contracted and conscripted military personnel (training sessions, UPF, SMR)?

Physical training planning is carried out:

for contracted and conscripted military personnel – 5 training hours per week, one hour daily in the duty time regulations (when staying in places of permanent deployment);

for cadets of military educational institutions – 4 training hours per week in the schedule of classes;

for students of military educational institutions – 4 training hours per week, 2 two-hour classes (one classroom lesson, the other – during self-study hours);

daily, except for weekends and holidays, in military units and military educational institutions, morning physical exercises are carried out lasting 30-50 minutes;

weekly mass sports work in a military unit (military educational institution) is carried out: twice for 1 hour – on working days in their free time and 3 hours – on weekends and holidays for conscripts and cadets of military educational institutions; two times for 1 hour – in the regulations of official time for military personnel under the contract.

14. Medical provision of physical training – definition, purpose, objectives and content?

Medical support of physical training is a complex of medical and medical-pedagogical measures aimed at the most rational achievement of the goal and solving the problems of physical training.

Medical control over physical training and sports ensures systematic monitoring of the state of health and physical development of military personnel involved in physical exercises, control over the proper organization and conduct of physical training classes, sports training and competitions, as well as over the safe conditions for their conduct.

Medical and medical-pedagogical activities are a type of activity of the medical service, carried out jointly with specialists in physical training and sports. The joint construction of the process of physical training based on the data of medical examinations of military personnel, taking into account physiological patterns, allows optimizing the development of physical qualities and the formation of motor skills within the framework of the pedagogical principles of physical education.

The tasks of medical provision of physical training are:

assistance in the systematic and methodically correct use of means and methods of physical training for the development of physical qualities in military personnel and the acquisition of motor skills;

ensuring the health-improving orientation of physical training by improving physical development, strengthening health and increasing the body’s resistance to the effects of adverse factors of military professional activity.

Medical provision of physical training includes:

participation of specialists of the military medical service in the planning of physical training;

analysis of the results of medical examinations of military personnel in order to determine the physical loads acceptable for them, taking into account their state of health, nutritional status and physical development, level of physical fitness and age;

distribution of military personnel into physical training groups, taking into account age and health status;

personal accounting of military personnel temporarily released from classes and physical fitness checks or transferred to the group of therapeutic physical culture, as well as military personnel with excessive and insufficient nutrition;

medical and pedagogical supervision of all forms of physical training of servicemen;

taking into account the specifics of physical training in the types of the Armed Forces;

control over compliance with the optimal dosage of physical activity and sanitary and epidemiological requirements during physical training classes;

checking the sanitary and epidemiological condition of sports facilities and places of physical training and sports, as well as the condition of sportswear and equipment;

development of measures to prevent injuries in the process of all forms of physical training and control over their implementation;

instilling in servicemen the skills of self-control, personal and public hygiene and the formation of a healthy lifestyle in them;

medical support for national teams, training sessions and sports competitions of a military unit;

organizing and conducting classes with military personnel included in the group of therapeutic physical culture and transferring them after recovery to the main groups;

control over the correct conduct of hardening in a military unit.
