Task for the design of foundations

6.1 The assignment for the design of foundations should include:

– value of loads on foundations;

– the accepted rule of signs of loads on foundations;

– layout of foundation bolts for each brand of foundation;

– diameters, heights of protruding parts, lengths of cuts, steel grades of foundation bolts;

– requirements for the deformability of foundations, if necessary;

An example of a task for designing foundations is shown in Figure 2.

General arrangement drawings

7.1 Drawings of general types of structures of a building (structure) contain a diagram of structures with connections, indicating the relative position of structures, their connections and support on foundations.

An example of the execution of general view drawings is shown in Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6.

7.2 General view drawings should indicate:

– main overall dimensions of structures;

– binding and basic parameters of technological equipment (handling and transport, etc.) that affect structures;

– characteristic marks;

– adjoining building structures not developed in this set of drawings.

Schemes of the location of elements of metal structures

8.1 The layouts of the elements of metal structures should be carried out in accordance with GOST 21.501 with the following change: instead of the specification in accordance with GOST 21.101, a table of sections and forces is given.

8.2 The table of sections and forces should be performed according to form 1 in accordance with Appendix D.

8.3 When performing layouts of elements of metal structures on several sheets, the table of sections and forces should be placed either in parts on each sheet, or grouped on one sheet common to all sheets of the table.

8.4 In the technical requirements placed on the layout diagrams of the elements of metal structures, the following should be given:

– force values for calculating the attachment of elements that are not indicated in the drawings and in the table of sections and forces;

– additional technical requirements for manufacturing and installation that are not included in the general data.

8.5 Marking of structural elements is carried out, as a rule, on the layout diagrams of elements, and structural elements that did not fall on the layout diagrams of elements are marked on the drawings of general views, nodes. Marking of structural elements is carried out in accordance with GOST 26047.

An example of the implementation of diagrams and marking of elements of metal structures is shown in Figure 7.

Drawings of elements of metal structures

9.1 Drawings of elements of metal structures are performed if the design features of the elements are insufficiently identified on the drawings of general views and layouts of the elements of metal structures for the development of working detail drawings.

9.2 Drawings of elements of metal structures should be made in the form of diagrams, which indicate:

– geometric dimensions;

– support reactions;

– dimensions of individual parts, as well as forces;

– type of assembly and factory connections;

– name of steel or metal grade of all parts included in the element;

– technical requirements.

The dimensions of welds, diameters, strength classes, steps, the number of fasteners and technical requirements for them are not indicated – they are determined during the development of working detail drawings of the KMD brand.

9.3 In the technical requirements on the drawings of elements of metal structures, the following should be indicated:

– forces for the calculation of attachments not indicated on the drawing;

– additional requirements for the manufacture and installation of elements;

– numbers of sheets corresponding to the layouts of elements of metal structures;

– other requirements.

9.4 On the drawings of the elements of metal structures, links are given to the nodes. The nodes indicated on the layout diagrams of the elements of metal structures are not indicated on the drawings of the elements of metal structures.

9.5 If, when depicting an element, it is necessary to show a part of the structure or a node in more detail, then they should be depicted on a larger scale with the required degree of detail.

9.6 An example of the execution of a diagram of a metal structure element is shown in Figure 8.

Knots of metal structures

10.1 On the drawings of the KM brand, the principal solutions of the nodes of metal structures (hereinafter referred to as the nodes) are given, which ensure the operation of the adopted design scheme of the structure.

10.2 On the drawings of nodes, it is necessary to depict all elements converging in the node, indicating bindings to the coordination axes, axes of elements, surfaces of parts, marks in accordance with Figure 9.

10.3 When joining metal structures to elements not developed in this set of drawings, the assembly drawings should indicate the configuration of these elements, their dimensions, bindings and other data necessary for the development of detail drawings.

10.4 On the drawings of the nodes indicate:

– forces acting in the elements, if they are not specified in the table of sections and forces;

– binding to coordination axes;

– element thicknesses;

– dimensions of welds;

– quantity, steps, diameters, types, strength classes of bolts, rivets and other fasteners;

– requirements for treated surfaces;

– sections, names or grades of metal of parts not specified in the table of sections and forces;

– technical requirements;

The thicknesses of parts, dimensions of welds, number, steps, diameters, strength class of fasteners are not indicated if they can be determined during the development of detail drawings.
