2. Algorithm of nurse actions:

  1. call an ambulance using help;
  2. create a calm environment;
  3. free from restrictive clothing;
  4. provide access to fresh air;
  5. give the patient a comfortable position;
  6. stop the bleeding:

a) press the artery against the femur (to do this, press with your fist in the area of the inguinal fold, using the weight of your body);

b) apply a tourniquet above the site of bleeding.

  2. carry out immobilization of the limb;
  3. condition monitoring (pulse, blood pressure, respiration);
