Equipment: Ruler or measuring tape, 3% chloramine solution, napkin, class B waste container, pen, history of development (f.112). 1 pair of gloves.

Preparation for manipulation:

1. Inform the mother about the course of the study, obtain informed consent.

2. Wipe the measuring tape with 3% chloramine solution twice with an interval of 15 minutes.

3. Sanitize hands, put on gloves.

4. Release the child’s head and chest from clothing, give the child a comfortable position.

Performing manipulation:

1. Measure the circumference of the head by placing a centimeter tape on the head according to the landmarks: behind – the occipital protuberance, in front – the superciliary arches

2. Measure the circumference of the chest by placing a centimeter tape on the chest: behind – the lower corners of the shoulder blades, in front – at the level of the nipples (ore glands.

3. Measure the distance between the midpoints of opposite sides of the large fontanel.

End of manipulation:

1. Report the results to mom.

2. Record the measurement results in f.112.

3. Remove gloves, place in a Class B waste container

4. Wash and dry your hands.


Goal: increase the body’s resistance

Equipment: changing table, flannel blanket, flannel diaper, toys: ball, rings, stick.


1. Massage is carried out in a well-ventilated room at a temperature of 21-23 degrees, 1.5-2 hours after feeding

2. Honey. to the worker (mother) cleanly wash their hands, dry them, warm them

3. Cover the changing table with a fourfold folded flannel blanket, cover with a clean flannel diaper on top

4. Undress the child completely and put him on the table and perform a complex of massage and gymnastics, taking into account his age

Massage technique:

1. From 1.5 to 3 months, stroking of hands, legs, feet, and abdomen is mainly carried out

2. From 3 to 6 months, along with stroking, rubbing of the arms, legs, back, foot, rectus and oblique abdominal muscles is carried out.

3. From 6 to 9 months, light tapping of the feet, kneading the back is connected

4. From 9 months to 1 year, rubbing of the rectus and oblique abdominal muscles is connected.

Technique for performing elements of gymnastics:

1. From 1.5 to 3 months – reflex extension of the spine

2. From 3 to 6 months, turns from the back to the stomach, crossing the arms in front of the chest, “hovering”, “dancing”, “trampling”, flexion and extension of the arms and legs, stroking in an upright position, stepping over with the support of the armpit are connected.

3. From 6 to 9 months, they additionally introduce abduction of the shoulders back, reduction of the shoulder blades in the prone position, standing up on the legs with the support of the elbows, from the prone position, circular movements of the arms in the supine position, crawling behind the object.

4. From 9 to 12 months – the same elements of gymnastics and additionally lifting on the knees, then on the feet from a position lying on the stomach, alternately bending the arms at the elbows and legs at the knee joints, squatting with support for the rings, tilting and straightening the torso, in a standing position, walking with the support of a stick.

End of manipulation:

Dress the child, remove equipment, wash hands.


Equipment: height meter (horizontal, vertical), 3% chloramine solution, class B waste container, napkin, diaper, pen, child development history (f.112).

Preparation for manipulation:

1. Explain to the mother or child the course of manipulation, obtain informed consent.

2. Sanitize hands.

3. Wipe the height meter with a 3% solution of chloramine.

4. In children 1 year old, height is measured with a horizontal stadiometer, over 1 year old – with a vertical stadiometer.

Performing manipulation:

1. Cover the horizontal stadiometer with a clean diaper so that it does not cover the scale and does not interfere with the movement of the movable bar.

2. Put the child on the stadiometer with his head to the fixed bar.

3. Straighten the child’s legs by pressing on the knees.

4. Move the movable bar of the height meter to the soles of the baby.

5. On the scale of the stadiometer, determine the length of the child’s body. In older children, measure height with a vertical stadiometer.

6. Put the child on the platform of the height meter, after removing his shoes from him.

7. Lean it against a vertical board of a height meter, which has 2 division scales in cm (on the right – to determine the length of the body while standing; on the left – to determine the length of the body while sitting); the child should stand straight with his hands at his sides, heels together, socks apart.

8. Check the points of contact of the child to the height meter: heels, buttocks of the interscapular region, the back of the head.

9. Set the child’s head so that the lower edge of the orbit and the upper

the edge of the ear tragus was in the same horizontal plane.

10. Lower the movable bar of the stadiometer without pressure to the head.

11. Determine the length of the child’s body along the lower edge of the bar (on the right scale).

12. Treat height meters with a disinfectant.

End of manipulation:

1. Make sure the patient is comfortable.

2. Wash and dry your hands.

3. Record the received data in f.112, inform the parents or the child about them.
