Presenter 1:

Good afternoon dear friends! We are glad to see all of you at the evening of the staged military-patriotic song “Songs of the Great Feat”.

Host 2:

Whatever time we live in, we, peaceful people, would not like to face the horror of war.

Presenter 1:

In 1941, we tried to avoid the Great Patriotic War, but it broke into every house and claimed millions of lives. The Soviet people stood up to defend the Fatherland, at the front and in the rear, in partisan detachments and in the underground, day after day they forged victory, sparing no effort and their lives to defeat the enemy. Today, we cannot but remember those who left and did not return. And our generation says sincere thanks for the fact that we can live.

Host 2:

From the first days of the Great Patriotic War, dozens of new songs appeared, most of which, wearing soldier’s overcoats, joined the ranks of the defenders of the Motherland. We will tell our story about songs, monuments of the war years, about their authors and the history of their creation.

Presenter 1:

Today, songs will be heard from the stage that were, are and will be the brightest page of the spiritual wealth of Russia, a page that is filled with hope, indestructible optimism and deep love for Russia!

When the Germans attacked our country, blackout was introduced everywhere. There were no lights on the streets, the windows were tightly closed with curtains and sheets of black paper in the evening. And suddenly the song “Spark” flew to the front on the radio. Imagine: a fighter leaves for a position and moving away, for a long, long time he sees a light in the window of his beloved.

Host 2:

And people knew: half of the country plunges into impenetrable darkness at night, even cars do not light their headlights. Enemy aircraft will not find the target. The image of the light has turned into a symbol: our light has not gone out, it will never go out. The poet Isakovsky became the author of the sincere song, and the people composed the music.

The 4th platoon “Marine Corps” is invited to the stage

Presenter 1:

The fighting spirit was preserved in short lines of front-line messages. Without pathos and pretentious, official formulations. The “heroic” appearance of the Russian soldier is revealed in the letters in quite ordinary and understandable situations. Ordinary people fought, winning the great war!

Host 2:

Zavyalov Alexander Andreevich from a letter to his wife

“… I am writing and I hear that somewhere they are singing a very good song. And so for a moment everything, everything is forgotten, you surrender for a moment to something incomprehensible, the past. How I would like to see you at this moment, how I would like to be with you, but it’s only a dream stuck in the memory…”

Presenter 1:

The song inspired and rallied people in the fight against the enemy, and its mighty power was compared more than once with the power of military weapons. 12 thousand accordions were sent to the active army, and in total there were over 60 thousand of them in the troops. Of course, we understand that the accordions “fought” precisely when the guns fell silent, during short breaks between battles.

The 2nd platoon “Air Defense Troops” is invited to the stage

Host 2:

They brought a soldier to the medical battalion …

The doctor said: “He won’t live to see the night…”

“I would like … a song,” the soldier whispered, “

I’ve been eager for songs for a long time … “

The pain is unbearable and sharp

One hundred fragments crushed the body …

And sister, tired sister,

Until dawn she sang over the soldier

Presenter 1:

The song “Take an overcoat, let’s go home” is considered by most to be military and front-line. Victorious! Meanwhile, she was born three decades after the Great Victory – in 1975.

And the front – in spirit, in words and notes – she became because the poems soaked in gunpowder were written by Bulat Okudzhava, a participant in the Great Patriotic War. Music – composer Valentin Levashov, who spent almost the entire war on the front lines along with army artistic brigades.

Meet the 3rd platoon with the song “Take your overcoat, let’s go home”

Presenter 1:

The song of the war years… Together with the Fatherland, she joined the soldier’s ranks from the first days of the war and walked along the dusty and smoky roads of the war until its victorious end. She helped the people to survive and win. And helped! And they won!

Lead 2.

The song “Smuglyanka” was written by composer A. Novikov and poet Y. Shvedov in 1940. It sang of a partisan girl during the civil war. However, the song was never performed in the pre-war years. It was first performed in 1944. The soloist of the Red Banner Ensemble Nikolai Ustinov sang it. Then she was picked up in the rear and at the front. The song, which spoke about the events of the civil war, was perceived as a song about those who heroically fought for the liberation of the long-suffering Moldovan land during the Patriotic War .

Presenter 1. The soldiers knew that death awaited many; knew that war is not a holiday, not a parade. And yet there were jokes at the front, laughter was heard …

Years have passed, the country has healed war wounds, but the songs of the war years still sound today, shaking hearts. They have not aged at all, they are still in service today. How many of them … beautiful and unforgettable. Each of the war songs is a true masterpiece, with its own life and history. We were born and raised in peacetime. We find it hard to believe that human life is as easy to end as a morning dream. For us, war is history.

Lead 1.

The military theme excited and excites creative people of all generations. Our contemporaries create songs that are in no way inferior to the songs of the wartime.
